Angela Lindner, Ph.D.

LindnerDr. Lindner is the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Affairs at the University of Florida, and an Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering. She earned a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and her MS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the faculty at UF, Dr. Lindner worked for General Motors and for the federal government at the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Dr. Lindner established the Blalock-Stephenson-Stirling Endowed Undergraduate research award in Chemistry in honor of her parents, Minerva Blalock Stephenson and Ralph Stephenson Sr., and her sister, Maye Kathryn Stephenson Stirling. The award supports one or more undergraduate summer research projects, with a preference for research in environmental chemistry. She also established the Chemistry Catalyst Fund for students with financial need, and she supports the Dr. W. Frank Kinard Annual Chemistry Scholarship.​
