Neil Draisin, O.D.
Dr. Draisin has been a practicing Behavioral Optometrist for more than 40 years, having founded his practice, Draisin Vision Group in 1972. He is board certified in Children’s Vision and Visual Perception and Development, as well as treatment and management of eye disease. Dr. Draisin graduated from the College of Charleston and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He and his wife Carolyn have three grown children.
While a student at the College, Dr. Draisin was a member of the men’s tennis team. As part of the Boundless Campaign, he and his wife established the Draisin Family Endowed Scholarship to provide scholarships for out-of-state students with financial need who qualify for the William Aiken Fellows program in the Honors College.
At the December 2018 Commencement, College philanthropists Dr. Draisin and his wife, Carolyn Feinberg Draisin, were presented with honorary degrees.
