Center for Coastal Environmental and Human Health
The Center for Coastal Environmental and Human Health (CCEHH) is a campus focal point and catalyst for interdisciplinary teaching and research to increase understanding of the roles of healthy coastal environments in supporting human health and well-being. It serves as a hub for faculty and students whose research, teaching, and learning interests include aspects of environmental and human health. The Center works to increase opportunities for faculty grants, student assistantships and internships, and expansion of course offerings. The CCEHH supports increased collaboration among the College’s excellent undergraduate and Master’s program in Marine Biology; Master of Environmental Studies program and undergraduate minor in Environmental and Sustainability Studies; and its undergraduate program in Public Health. The Center also provides opportunities for linkages with other institutions in the U.S. and abroad.
